From my own hertiage, to an affection for history, recognition of the past has always been important to me. The things that have come before are tools for seeing, for understanding. They offer perspective and context.

They are part of the story.

In graphic design, the story is a powerful tool. It creates connections, depth and solidity. It evokes an emotional response. This is what I love about design, the power of visual narrative.

"to give order to information, form to ideas, and expression to artifacts that document human experience."
